Antarctica is the largest desert on Earth with an area of 14 Million km sq. It\'s a cold desert, with very summers and very cold winters. It has very little snow or rain on the continent. The ice can be more than 4 km thick in some places holding ~70 percent of the Earth’s fresh water.

Whenever we think about the deserts we think of sand, dust and hot temperature, but that\'s not true. Sahara is the third largest desert on Earth with an area of 9 Million km square.
