OK children, it\'s time to do the thing
Make the classroom look tidy and clean
Everybody must work as a team...
ARRIBA!
Verse 2
------------
Pick up the pens, put them in the pots
Don\'t forget the lids, we put them back on
Or they will dry up and we cannot draw those wonderful, WONDERFUL pictures
Pre-chorus
----------------
Shaky shaky, stop
Shaky till you drop
Shaky shaky, stop
DON\'T DO THE BELLY FLOP!
It\'s fun when we shake, when we dance
LET\'S TIDY AND SING!
Chorus
-----------
Tidy up, rhumba
Tidy up the room now
Come on boys and girls, let\'s do this thing
Tidy up, rhumba
Tidy up the room
You will be happy when things are all tidy and clean
Bridge
----------
Let\'s tidy up (x4)
Verse 3
------------
Tuck in your chairs, nicely away
All the resources back in the tray
All the wet paintings belong on the drying rack
Listen children, I\'m so pedantic
I want this classroom to look so fantastic
Check under tables, chairs,
EVERYWHERE!

Musical Playground are George Papakyriacou and Christalla Michael.

We write fun and educational songs for children. We released our first album in 2008 and proudly released our second album \"Are We There Yet?\" in December 2015.

It\'s been an amazing journey so far...thanks for finding us and we hope you enjoy the songs as much as we do. We’ve had a great time recording every single one of our songs. We created these songs out of a real love of music and the desire to make songs for children that were neither patronising, nor too “grown up” and above all our songs are original and from the heart.

We have been very close friends for ages and ages and guess what? We’re both primary school teachers and this album was written whilst teaching at the same school in North London.

Being musicians it was only natural for us to use music as a tool for learning in the classroom. Immediately it was easy to see how children enjoyed accessing the topics taught in a musical and energetic way and how quickly they retained the knowledge too. It wasn’t long before we had several songs written about different themes and topics in the curriculum, so we decided to make the album so that children, parents and teachers could get their hands on the songs!

Well a little more information about me. (George). I’ve always associated teaching with having fun and if you’re not, you’re in the wrong job. Music for me is a huge part of my life. As well as writing songs for children, I write songs for grown ups too. When not at work I spend a lot of time in music studios, swimming pools, yoga classes and on my piano. One of my life ambitions is to buy a campervan and go round the world for a year or two.

And a little more info about Chris! As far back as I can remember I always wanted to work with children and have been a teacher for 19 years. It is the most rewarding job with daily challenges and every day is different. Then along the way came two adorable children of my own, which only heightened the need for good quality children’s music. This musical project has awakened my creativity and added a new dimension to my life. What better position to be in than to see what positive effects the music has on the children I teach daily, who after all are our toughest critics, and our biggest fans!
