Ponds are full of interesting plants and animals that have adapted to an aquatic life. They find a habitat that meets their needs for food, water, shelter and air whether they live in, on or around the water. Why are ponds important to the ecosystem? This video is one of a four part set meant to be watched in any order.

Exploring Habitats is a program for second graders sponsored by UC Marin Master Gardeners and the Marin Art & Garden Center. See our webpage for more information: https://marinmg.ucanr.edu/ASK_US/YOUTHPROGRAMS/ExploringHabitats/
